No. Feelspace LIVE is designed for real-time sessions. The instructor or facilitator connects remotely and appears life-size in the Feelspace unit while the session is happening.
What could we use Feelspace LIVE for?
Examples include appropriate movement classes, mindfulness, relaxation, music, singing, guest speakers, education, craft demonstrations, cultural programs and other facilitated group activities suitable for your residents.
Can the presenter be somewhere else in Australia?
Yes. That is one of the main purposes of Feelspace LIVE. The presenter does not need to be physically inside your aged care home. The live session is delivered remotely through the hologram unit.
What does our aged care home need to provide?
A suitable indoor space, power, a stable internet connection for the live feed, resident coordination and the usual local supervision appropriate to the activity. Feelspace can discuss the practical setup with your team before a demonstration or session.
Does Feelspace provide clinical or medical advice through LIVE?
Feelspace LIVE is a technology and presentation service. Any health, exercise or specialist program must be delivered by an appropriately qualified provider, and the aged care home remains responsible for determining resident suitability and local support requirements.
Can we see it before deciding whether to offer it?
Yes. A live demonstration is the best way to understand the difference between watching a presenter on a television and seeing that person standing life-size in the room.
